Luba Poliak is a concert pianist and chamber musician who has performed as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician across the United States, Europe, and Israel. Born in Siberia, she made her professional debut at the age of eleven performing Mozart with the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra.

Her concert appearances include the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts Series in Chicago (broadcast twice on WFMT 98.7), the 92nd Street Y Faculty Concert Series, Caramoor Center for Music & the Arts, Bargemusic, Roerich Museum, Harvard Club of New York, and the Bechstein Artist Series in New York; Jordan Hall in Boston; and the Embassy Series in Washington, D.C. She has performed concertos with the Stony Brook Symphony, the Bacau Symphony Orchestra of Romania on tour in Italy, and the Haifa Youth Orchestra. Additional radio broadcasts include ABC Classical FM in Australia and Kol HaMusica in Israel.

She holds a Bachelor of Music, Magna cum Laude, from the Rubin Academy of Music at Tel-Aviv University; a Master of Music with Academic Honors from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston (studio of Gabriel Chodos); and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Stony Brook University (studio of Gilbert Kalish). She was also a visiting student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, and a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin Summer Music Festival, and Verbier Festival & Academy.

With two decades of teaching experience across conservatory, festival, pre-college, and adult education settings, Luba has held faculty positions at the 92nd Street Y School of Music, Bard College Conservatory of Music, and Manhattan School of Music Summer. She is the founder and curator of the Musical Soirée Series for adult pianists, and serves as a chamber music coach with the New York Youth Symphony, whose ensembles perform at Carnegie Hall. She maintains an active private studio in Manhattan and is a sought-after competition adjudicator.
